The bridge that carries Corporation Street over the River Don in Sheffield. The city’s wealth was founded on the coal and steel industries — stainless steel is a British invention. Both industries have now been almost eliminated across the UK by successive Governments, latterly for reasons of Green policy. Global developments and new technology are making these decisions look a little hasty.

For each group of words, compose a sentence that uses all three. You can use any form of the word: for example, cat → cats, go → went, or quick → quickly, though neigh → neighbour is stretching it a bit.

This exercise uses words found in the accompanying puzzle.
