But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD. Ps 73
For God is my King of old. O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of thy poor for ever. Ps 74
But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob. Ps 75
When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Ps 76
I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me. In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord. Ps 77
But he, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not. Ps 78
O remember not against us former iniquities: let thy tender mercies speedily prevent us: for we are brought very low. Help us, O God of our salvation [Bede: Jesus our God], for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name’s sake. Ps 79
